Marketplace Seller Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for sellers offering tangible music-related goods through the OohYeah Marketplace. It supplements the Universal Terms and Seller Agreement.

Last updated: August 28, 2026 · Version: 2026-08-28-draft-1 · Effective: Pending owner approval

1. Scope

This policy applies to seller accounts, storefronts, tangible-goods listings, product images, inventory, order communications, fulfillment, returns, and related conduct. Tangible goods include instruments, recording and live-sound equipment, parts, physical media, apparel, artist merchandise, collectibles, and approved print-on-demand merchandise. It does not authorize services, digital downloads, streaming access, subscriptions, tips, donations, tickets, gift cards, memberships, or intangible offers through the tangible-goods marketplace; any separate feature is governed by its applicable agreement.

2. Payment and external-channel rules

OohYeah is a third-party marketplace. PayPal processes payments under its own agreements and policies. Sellers engaged in commercial activity must use an eligible PayPal Business account where required and may not request personal or “friends and family” payments to evade fees, protections, reviews, reporting, or platform controls. PayPal and Google independently determine eligibility, may change their standards, and may limit accounts, hold or reverse funds, or disapprove products. OohYeah does not guarantee payment acceptance, PayPal Seller Protection, Google approval, placement, traffic, or external-channel availability.

3. Seller identity and integrity

Provide complete, current, and verifiable legal, business, tax, payout, and contact information; use only identities and payment methods you are authorized to use; accurately identify the actual seller; and maintain all required licenses, permits, records, insurance, safety documents, and age controls. Cooperate with reasonable requests for identity, ownership, authenticity, inventory, delivery, rights, or fraud information. Do not create accounts to evade a restriction, review, hold, product disapproval, suspension, or enforcement decision.

4. Prohibited goods and transactions

Do not offer illegal, sanctioned, recalled, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, infringing, falsely branded, or deceptively described goods; goods with altered serial numbers or unresolved ownership claims; controlled substances, tobacco or vaping products, firearms, ammunition, explosives, regulated weapons, alcohol, prescription products, hazardous materials shipped unlawfully, or protected wildlife or materials without required documentation. Do not offer bootleg media, unauthorized merchandise, products violating copyright, trademark, patent, publicity, privacy, or other rights, or goods that promote hateful, exploitative, violent, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct.

5. Fraud, financial abuse, privacy, and off-platform evasion

Do not use fictitious goods, empty packages, bait-and-switch offers, false scarcity, forged reviews, hidden mandatory charges, misleading warranties, false discounts, cash-advance schemes, credential testing, manipulated sales, money movement, gambling products, financial products, hacking tools, fake documents, malware, or products containing another person’s private data. Do not direct buyers to phishing, unlawful downloads, malware, undisclosed data collection, or off-platform payment intended to bypass marketplace or PayPal controls.

6. Listing and product standards

Before checkout, state the exact product, maker or artist, model, edition, format, condition, variant, quantity, included accessories, defects, price, currency, mandatory charges, inventory, location, handling time, shipping or pickup method, delivery estimate, geographic limits, and return, cancellation, refund, warranty, or restocking terms. Listings must remain secure, functional, current, internally consistent, and relevant to the product. Do not use deceptive formatting, unrelated keywords, hidden text, or destination links that differ from the product offered.

7. Equipment, dealers, merchandise, and pickup

Used, vintage, unique, or serialized items require current photographs of the actual item and disclosure of material defects, repairs, modifications, replaced parts, authenticity concerns, and identifiers when required. Dealers must accurately state brand, model, identifiers, warranty, and authorized-dealer status. Print-on-demand goods must use approved fulfillment, licensed artwork, accurate mockups, and honest production estimates. Preorders or backorders require reliable documented supply and clear availability information. Pickup-only goods must be disclosed before checkout and completed through the designated pickup process; they may be excluded from Google unless an eligible local-inventory setup is confirmed.

8. Google-bound product data

Marketplace permission does not guarantee Google eligibility. OohYeah may exclude products from Google when data, images, shipping, availability, returns, checkout, contact information, or technical requirements are incomplete, inconsistent, unsupported, or risky. Google-bound products must keep title, description, identifiers, condition, price, availability, image, shipping, and return data synchronized across the product page, checkout, structured data, and feed. Never invent GTINs or MPNs; use a clear image of the actual item for used or unique goods; and ensure checkout prices and availability match submitted data.

9. Fulfillment, returns, and disputes

Maintain saleable inventory, fulfill the exact product and variant promised, package safely, comply with carrier and customs requirements, provide truthful tracking or delivery evidence, and do not mark pickup complete before handoff. Promptly communicate material delays or inability to fulfill and provide any required cancellation or refund option. Follow the listing, Return & Refund Policy, PayPal rules, and applicable law; process valid refunds through the approved transaction method; and do not seek duplicate recovery. PayPal administers its own holds, reversals, reserves, and disputes. OohYeah does not hold seller funds.

10. Communications, monitoring, and enforcement

Keep order communications professional, accurate, and relevant. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences; do not manipulate reviews, sales, clicks, or visibility, retaliate for a good-faith report, scrape or disrupt systems, or attempt unauthorized access. OohYeah may use lawful automated and human review, reports, payment or fulfillment signals, public records, and rights or theft information to investigate risk. Depending on the facts, OohYeah may require correction or verification; unpublish, de-index, or remove listings; exclude products from external channels; limit features; or suspend or terminate access as permitted by law and the applicable agreements. Report concerns through Trust & Safety or Support.

11. Relationship to other documents

This policy supplements the Universal Terms, Seller Agreement, Privacy Policy, transaction-specific terms, and seller store policies. If an applicable rule is stricter, that rule controls, subject to non-waivable law. PayPal, Google, card-network, carrier, fulfillment-provider, and other third-party agreements remain separate.
