NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The heart of Americana beats loudest in Music City, and this year, it’s about to roar. The Americana Music Association has announced a dazzling lineup of performers and presenters for its 24th Annual Americana Honors & Awards, set to take place on September 10, 2025, at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium.

This annual celebration has become one of the most anticipated nights in roots music, honoring artists who embody the authentic storytelling and rich traditions that define Americana.

A Reunion Worth the Wait

The night promises history in the making with the return of John Fogerty, marking his first performance at the Americana Honors & Awards since receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting back in 2009.

Adding even more star power, Emmylou Harris, the 2002 Lifetime Achievement recipient and a cornerstone of Americana, will take the stage alongside Daniel Lanois, whose groundbreaking Wrecking Ball album celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and a recent induction into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Bringing wit and warmth to the evening, John C. Reilly returns as host. He’ll be joined by an all-star list of presenters who represent the spirit and diversity of Americana:

Behind the Music: Buddy Miller’s All-Star Band

The ceremony’s powerhouse performances will be guided by Buddy Miller, back at the helm of the Americana All-Star Band, featuring:
Don Was, The McCrary Sisters, Fred Eltringham, Jen Gunderman, Jim Hoke, and Larry Campbell.

Awards, Broadcasts & AmericanaFest

The evening will include the announcement of this year’s coveted “Of the Year” winners, including Album, Artist, Duo/Group, Emerging Act, Instrumentalist, and Song of the Year, along with the unveiling of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Honorees.
