SUPPORT GUIDE

Set Your Availability and Services

Let clients know what you do, what projects you are available for, and whether you work remotely, locally, or from your own studio.

Music Pros use their availability and services to show clients what work they are ready to take on. Keep this information clear and current so the right projects can find you.

Choose the Services You Offer

Select the services you actively provide. Your availability may include music production, mixing, mastering, session work, vocal recording, songwriting, photography, live event production, artist development, consulting, management, marketing, publishing, or another specialty.

Only list services you are prepared to take on. Clear service details help clients understand whether you are the right fit before they contact you.

Explain How You Work

Let clients know whether you are available for remote work, local sessions, full recording sessions, or work at your own studio.

For example, a session musician may be available for remote overdubs, while a producer may offer full song production or in-studio recording. Be specific about the type of work you want to receive.

Keep Availability Current

Update your availability when you are accepting new projects, focused on certain types of work, or unavailable for a period of time. Accurate availability saves time for you and potential clients.

Set Clear Expectations

Use your profile and OohYeah messages to explain what a client should expect from your service. Discuss the project scope, files, timeline, deliverables, and any other important details before moving forward.

Clear communication helps clients choose the right Music Pro and helps you take on projects that match your skills, schedule, and professional goals.
