Build a Strong Music Pro Portfolio

Show clients real examples of your work, relevant credits, and the services you want to be hired for.

Your portfolio helps clients understand the quality, style, and type of work you do. Choose examples that represent the projects you want to attract.

Show Your Best Work

Share work examples that are clear, relevant, and current. A producer may feature completed productions, a mixing engineer may share mixes, a session musician may share performances, and a photographer or videographer may feature selected visual work.

Quality matters more than quantity. A few strong examples that match your specialty are more useful than a long list of unrelated work.

Explain Your Role

Give each example context. Identify the project, the artist or client when appropriate, and the work you contributed. Be clear about whether you produced, mixed, performed, engineered, photographed, edited, wrote, or provided another service.

Only share work, credits, images, audio, or video that you have permission to use.

Match Your Portfolio to Your Services

Your portfolio should support the services and availability shown on your profile. If you want to be hired for remote overdubs, show that work. If you offer full production, studio sessions, vocal production, or live-event services, include examples that help clients understand those strengths.

Keep It Current

Update your portfolio as your work, services, and professional focus evolve. Remove older examples that no longer represent your current standard or the type of projects you want to receive.

A focused portfolio gives clients a better picture of your work before they contact you through OohYeah.
