Cal Scruby is a rapper and lyricist from Cincinnati, Ohio. Scruby started rapping in 2011 with his first release, “Best Foot Forward,” which he recorded while studying at The Ohio State University. He followed the release with a weekly series of acapella videos called “Scruby Snacks” that created a buzz in the state of Ohio.Cal Scruby’s first mixtape with Riveting Entertainment, “House In the Hills” was released and charted on Billboard in several categories. His single “Ain’t Shit Change” featuring Chris Brown premiered on Billboard in December 2015 along with the music video; which received over 6 million views on Cal’s Vevo page.In the summer of 2017, Scruby released his second mixtape with Riveting “Long Story Short” and that same month he was featured on the title song of Chris Brown’s official documentary, both titled “Welcome To My Life”."Do Or Die" featuring Redman is Scruby's first official single of 2018. Scruby is currently working on finishing a mixtape he created that features all Ohio artists and producers. This tape is expected to release in the summer of 2018.
