OSullyman is a seasoned rock veteran whose story is as diverse and eclectic as his music. His life has been a riotous rollercoaster ride filled with wild gigs, and countless nights in grungy LA dive bars. This audacious artist, who once shared the stage with legends of the LA rock scene, is now strumming his strings in the heartlands of Nashville, recording a new music release that is set to further cement his legacy in the rock world. Born into the 1960s counterculture, OSullyman was shaped by an era of social upheaval and musical revolution. The son of free-spirited beatniks, he was baptized in the psychedelic sounds of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix. Influenced by these rock n' roll icons, OSullyman’s musical style was further honed by the jazz and blues sounds of Steely Dan and Miles Davis. In the 1980s, OSullyman stormed onto the punk rock scene with a vengeance, playing in top bands UXA and ROSCO and making his mark as a formidable force in the music industry. OSullyman was playing and sharing stages and recording studios with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Go Go’s, the Germs, Black Flag, X, and the Circle Jerks. But his story didn't end in the 1980s. After an exciting decade of rock excitement, he packed up his guitar and set off for new horizons. Eventually, his journey led him to Nashville, the city of country music and soulful ballads. Here, OSullyman began recording an eclectic group of songs that reflected his diverse musical influences and rock past. When he's not in the studio, OSullyman can be found playing in LA's notorious dive bars, such as the Roar Room, and Nashville's Commodore grille, and many other local venues.Armed with his guitar and a lifetime of stories, he brings an electric energy to these dimly-lit watering holes, reminding everyone that rock is not just a genre, but a way of life.
