Igor Gorbunov – Jazz Composer, Music Producer, and International Award WinnerIgor Gorbunov is a celebrated Russian jazz composer, musician, and producer, best known for creating the project “The Show Broadway Group.” A member of the Grammy Academy, Hollywood Music in Media Awards, BMI, and the International Society of Sound Arts (ISSA), Gorbunov has established a distinguished career in the international music scene.He began his musical journey at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Jazz Club, serving on its board as a young composer. Since 1991, he has written over 80 songs in the smooth jazz style, developing a signature sound that blends melodic sophistication with emotional depth. In 2010, he launched “The Show Broadway Group” in Kazan, bringing together professional musicians and vocalists for innovative jazz productions.Gorbunov’s international breakthrough came in 2014 when he was admitted to BMI, solidifying his presence in global music culture. He became a recognized jazz composer in the Grammy Academy in 2018, joining the ranks of legendary artists such as George Benson, Sade, and Earth, Wind & Fire. A twelve-time International Music Award winner, he has been honored with nominations for Artist of the Year and included in albums released by Shami Media Group, New York, such as Jazz the Beat and Sway and Dance Move Touch Down.At his studio, BG Records, Gorbunov orchestrates and produces albums, collaborating with singers like Margarita Kisapova and lyric translators such as Gregory Karasik.
